Summer Picnic Anyone????

Am I ever ready for Summer to be here! Spring at least! Well check out the new occasions Mini catalog to put you in the mood! There is some great new double-sided designer paper called Summer Picnic. It is so fun and bright! It coordinates with the new Die-cut blooms and a cute set called Tart and Tangy. Here are some samples made by my friend and upline Anne Miller. She shared these with us at our demonstrator gathering a couple months ago. The picture on the left is on of our On-Board Basics covered in the New Summer Picnic paper, embellished with a couple of our new Die-Cut Blooms in the Mini catalog. This makes a great photo "frame"! Add some ribbon and make it a wall hanging. I jot my paper in and will be making one or two of these! What a fun, easy project! Second, on the right is a simple card using the paper again along with the Die-Cut Bloom and a Build a Brad in the center! She did a beautiful job on these!

Long time.....No post!

I am sorry I have been MIA! Not intentional by me though! I have been trying to up load these all week but my Internet is soooo sloooooow! These are the pages the ladies did at our last Scrapbook club! This was the 1st meeting of a new club. We have a few new ladies join us and we all had fun! This month they got to play with Chipboard and the new Felt Fusion flowers! The first page uses the felt fusion flowers (top left), we punched out a flower with the 5 petal flower punch then used the Felt Fusion Flowers to layer on top. The page also uses the Jersey shore paper along with the Big Deal alphabet! The page on the right uses the new Jumbo Classic Stars wheel from the Spring/Summer Idea book & catalog as well as Best Friends alphabet and Chipboard Stars! I love chipboard for my scrapbooks and other projects. We simply rubbed Night of Navy classic ink on the chipboard star and it looked awesome! You can also stamp directly on the chipboard for a pattern, use craft ink for a deep color then even stamp another color/pattern over it, cover it with our beautiful double sided designer paper and more! Really fun to use on your projects!

These pages were and additional option for the ladies this month and the months to come! Easter Chickies!

Are these chickies just the cutest! The Chick comes from a new set from the Spring/Summer Catalog and Idea book! The ladies in the Scrapbookin Club made a scrapbook page with this set last month! I will have to share that with you too!
The little purse on the left is made from a 1/2 sheet of cardstock! Can you belive it? Just a little scoring and cutting and walaaaaaa, a purse! These are great for parties, little gifts for co-workers and more! I can easily show you how to make them when you book your party! The other are, you guessed it, recycled baby food jars! I have been making them for quick little gifts for door prizes and hostess gifts at my recent parties!

How do you do it?

LOL! I get asked this question all the time! For me it is take your child to work with you everytime I stamp to get ready for an event or for personal! LOL Truly! Even
though Taylor and I had a blast covering Shelby in Ribbon for these pictures, this truly how I work. Taylor is sitting accross from me making something (usually a mess :) and Shelby is sitting next to me in her Bumbo seat (thank the Lord for the sweet sole who invented that thing!) happily chewing on anything with in her chubby littles arms reach! But we are all together a haveing fun! (Julian is around too, jumping off furniture or soemthing) Sound like a circus right! Sometimes it is! I do it becuase it is fun, I love to create & share with all of you, I love all the people I meet along the way and the places I go (I could go on and on....)! Also, I learned not to sweat the small suff (like the dishes, laudry, ect! LOL) They will be there when I am done with my scrapbook page or card!
