Chipboard samples

Some of you might be wondering what all the hpye is about Chipboard, you see it everywhere in the papercrafting world and hear me talk about it too! Here are some samples for you. Did you know Stampin Up post projects with complete instructions on thier website everymonth? Be sure to check there for ideas too! Here are some samples I found on my computer to share with you. Some of these came from the Stampin Up Leadership Converence in January adn other are from friends. All images are copywrite Stampin Up 1988-2008.

This was from leadership in Palm Springs in Jan, featuring our 9x9 On Board Clipboards
This was also from leadership in Palm Springs in Jan, they used the 5x5 Onboard Art Journals to create Adress Books
Again from Leadership, they used the Onboard Book basics covered with designer series paper and the Onboard Chipboard Blossom Basics

This cute little wall hanging was made by my friend and upline, Anne Miller! She used the Book Basics Small, covered it with Berry Bliss Designer paper. added some ribbon and a Chipboard Star from the Onboard Accents Simple gift perfect for anyone. Just add a picture or a stamped name for a childs bedroom? Possiblities are endless.
Here is another from Anne with out the ribbon. She used the Summer Picnic Designer series paper from the Mini catalog along with the diecut blooms from the same Mini catalog.
This one is another 9x9 chipboard clipboard done by friend and fellow demonstrator Marilee Babcock. She also used the sticky cuts with the glitter in the left corner!

Year Around Fun + Chunky Glitter= Yummy!

Ok I have to admit when I seen Chunky Glitter in the catalog I did not think I would like it but I ordered at anyway. Let me tell you even though Chunky anything doesn't sound good for anything, but it is beautiful!!! I ordered the Chunky Sprinkles from the Occasions Mini catalog, that comes in Celery, Crystal Iris (iridescent White), Light blue & Light Pink. It is so beautiful, I used it on the card below that we did at the previous GNO Card Class. I covered the stamped cake from Year after Year (my fav all occasion set) in crystal effects and sprinkled the Crystal Iris from the Chunky Sprinkles in the crystal effects. If you don't know what crystal effects is, you need some! LOL It is a thick clear glaze that you can put over stamped images to make them "pop" or you can sprinkle glitter in it. It take a few min to dry but it is well worth the wait! Plus it is acid free so you can use it in your scrapbooks!

Build a Brad Braclet!

HOW FUN! I love making new projects! Especially one that combines my 2 loves ~ scrapbooking supplies and jewelry! LOL I have been inspired by a few of my fellow demonstrators to make this awesome bracelet! It was so easy (I am no jewelry maker, I am a jewelry buyer!)and it uses the Stampin Up! Build-A-Brads & rhinestone brads along with a couple basic jewelry making supplies (jump rings and a clasp). I even used my SU pliers that come in the crafters tool kit! You can use any needle-nose pliers(I believe that is what they call them)! They were so easy to do, my daughter Taylor was begging to do one so I let her. She did it all on her own with just a little instruction from me! Yep, just what your thinkin'! Watch for class info in the next day or 2 because you will most definitely want one (or 2 or 4 or 5...) for yourself!
