Family Heirloom Album
I've decided that for my Christmas gifts this year that I would like to make them a family album with our Home again simply scrappin' kit. This will be 12 X 12 size, and 20 pages long. I LOVE the Home again simply scrappin' kit, it is so beautiful!

This class is great, as there is no experience necessary and it is also great for the seasoned scrapper who knows the value of a complete album! This is a way to get a lot of your own scrappin done or create a priceless gift for someone! We'll complete this whole album in three hours or less!! How awesome is that! So make this as a gift for a family member this holiday season, or make it for yourself, and copy it over and over again!

Times: 11:00am-2:00pm or 3:00pm-6:00pm

6x6 Scrapbook 2008 Desk Calendar
This is an awesome class perfect for gift giving! For this class you will make a complete 12 page 6x6 Desk Calendar! This is another priceless gift for gift giving this holiday! One side will be a beautiful 6x6 scrapbook page ready to pop your picture in and the other will be the calendar month. Keep this for your self and record all your kids’ activities for the year on the calendar and then when the year is over pop them in a 6x6 scrapbook! All the pages are perforated so you can tear them out after the month is over and put them in an album to look back on for years to come!

Yes,I have been MIA! Hope everyone had a GREAT Thanksgiving and is enjoying the rest of their weekend. Well I am getting better at posting regularly!! I won't promise every day but I am going to try more! I am working on some class projects for November. I should have those done and posted this week along with the detials on when you can take the class! They are awesome! They will also be offered as Classes to Go! Where I bring them to you and your friends! You will LOVE them! But enough about that for now on to this scrapbook page and matching cards! This is a page we did last night at the Scrapbooking club! They even got to make a matching cards using the same supplies! I can't wait to add some pictures to this page. I am going to add some picutres I took of Shelby as soon as I can get them developed! Don't you just love digital cameras by the way! We can take so many pictures, delete the ones we don't like but can never seen to get them developed! LOL I know I am not the only one! Here is one of those awesome cards I spoke about in earlier posts that I received in an awesome swap I did with some other demonstrators. This demonstrator did not put her name on the back so I don't know who created it but it is beautiful! It is not a "Christmas "set but it sure does make a beautiful Christmas card with the right colors! I love this stamp set, which if you know me, this is not one I would choose on my own, but after seeing samples like this I knew I had to have it! We used it this month for a scrapbook page at our Scrapbook Club meeting! They all loved it!

My Sweeties!!

Here is an updated pictures of the kids! We visited a local pumpkin patch/farm yesterday. Perfect day for taking pictures! Can't wait to get them scrapbooked! Shelby is now 2 months old! It has went by so fast! She is growing and getting fun! She has started to smile and coo! Thought I would share these with all of you!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month...

I have went Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness month! An estimated 178,480 new cases of invasive breast cancer are expected to occur among women in the United States during 2007. An estimated 40,460 women will die from breast cancer. It is estimated that 2,030 men will be diagnosed and 450 men will die of breast cancer during 2007. In addition to invasive breast cancer, 62,030 new cases of in situ breast cancer are expected to occur among women in 2007.

MIA

Where have I been you ask, where are those samples I talked about? You have probably thought I am drowning in formula and Diapers! Well I am, kidding it is actually going quite well, Shelby has turned out to be a such a good sweet baby! And the fact that I have a wonderfully helpful older daughter who loves to help make it so much easier! Truth is, I have had problems logging on here, hence no updates!!! Well it is all fixed now and have things to share! First up is a Halloween candle I made for my good friend Anne as a thank you for watching Shelby for me one day! Stamping on candles is so much fun! I actually demonstrated how to do that this month at our monthly demonstrator meeting! If you would ever like to join me to see how much fun we have and to see where all the ideas come from, let me know, I would love to have you come as my guest!

Here is another sample for you. This cute little pot is one we did at the Mom and Me halloween camp last week. Taylor gave this one to her teacher this week filled with Choc Chip cookies I made! It uses the creepy crawly double sided designer paper, scalloped circle punch, 1 3/8 punch, Batty for You stamp set and pumpkin pie grosgrain ribbon. I love the Batty for you Set (which everyone rec at the camp!) It is great because the images fit perfectly in the 1 3/8 and 1 1/4 in circle punch! I love the punches and the fact that Stampin Up! makes things so much eaiser by making so many images in thier stamp sets that punch out with the wonderful punches!

Last Samples for the day!

Shew!!! I have been absent for so long that I have sooo much to share with all of you!! Here are the projects my Techniques Club did this past week!

Starting Top right and going clock wise: Cute card using the Cutie Pie Double Sided Designer paper, scallop punch & Seeing Spots Stamp set which I love becuase the images in this set punch out perfectly with the 1 3/8 in circle punch! This card we learned how to do "Scratch N' Sniff" embossing! Really a cool technique, where you use a drink mix and combine it with clear embossing powder and emboss! You really can smell it!

Next is a simple card using a new stamp set called Big on Christmas. The scrapbook club also used this set on their holiday page they made this month. Great versatile set and one of my favorites this year! It also used the new in colors, Wild Wasabi & Purely Pomegranate. I can take credit for creation of this but I can't remember the demo who I did CASE it from. So if this your creation, please let me know so I can give you credit!

Next is a fun bookmark they made using the awesome new Scallop punch (Ask anyone, I am crazy about punches, this one in particular! LOVE IT!!) Fun project! Want to learn how to make it? This could be one of the free make n takes we do at your Next in home party!!!

Last but not least, is a pretty card using a new stamp set from the Holiday Mini Catalog, called Season of Joy.

Mom & Me Scrapbook Club!

I am really excited to be offering this Mom & Me Club! I have been thinking about doing this for awhile now! My daughter Taylor, loves to scrapbook but we don't always have time to do it together, so I thought this would be a way to do it and I know others would love to scrap with the kids in their life! Right now I am taking names of those who are interested, we will need 6 mom/child combos to start. Once I have 6 interested we will decide on a start date and the day/time we will meet.

Here is how it will work:

We will meet once a month on a day we choose once we have at least 6 people. When we meet the moms will make (2) 12x12 scrapbook pages and the child will make (4) 6x6 pages (2 double 6x6 layouts). The only "cost" to make the pages is a minimum $25 order each month for 7 months (you can order what ever you choose , scrapbooking kits, ink pads, stamp sets, punches, you choose). ****Bonus!!! Each mom/child will also receive a free Hostess only stamp set or scrapbooking kit and $20 FREE to spend on whatever they choose once during the 6 months!

So at the end of the 7 months, the moms will have made a total of (14) 12x12 scrapbook pages and the girls will have made (26) 6x6 pages. These pages will be complete ready to drop in your pictures, making scrapbooking a snap and you both will have a beautiful album while spending some quality fun time together!

Scrapbook Club Pages!

We met for another Scrapbook Club meeting this past Sunday/Monday, we have so much fun and I really look forward to these ladies every month! I love to create the pages adn visit with all of them everymonth! I thought I would share one of the pages we did! The other one we did was a Christmas Themed page. These are some pictures of my son Julian when he was about 2 yrs old. I still have to finish the journaling or the "things I love about you" portion but that is always the last part I end up doing! This is one of my favorite minis of all time... I LOVE the holiday sets in this catalog. I already bought a few and will be buying more!More than I normally buy but, not only are there great sets, but there is designer paper, chipboard ornaments, ribbon, elastic cord, wrapping paper... and did I mention the best part... all of the stamps are DIE CUT--- no cutting rubber folks!!!! She has arrived!

She has finally arrived! Shelby Mae Helt arrived on Thursday, Aug 16th @ 4:49 am. She was 7 lbs 4 oz, 19 1/2 in long! She is so sweet and we all just adore her! Taylor and Julian are thrilled with her as are Dave and I!

Baby Shower pics and cards!

My wonderful friends gave me a baby shower a week or so a go! I am so fortuante and greatful to have such wonderful friends! It was very appricated and a great time! No baby yet for us but it will happen next week, weather I have her on my own or they induce me. There is light at the end of the tunnel! I thought I would share some pictures with you though, while I have the energy to do so!! The first is obviously me but the others are some of the awesome cards I rec! The first one with the bear are my thank yous, the giraffe were the invitations, the second card was made by my friend Heather S. She used 2 new colors I would have never put together for a baby card but I LOVED! Groovy Guava & Wild Wasabi using the I'm Here stamp set and some of the new rhinestone brads! The next was made by my other Friend Melissa W., she used the new set Year Around fun, and she used another color combo I would have never used on a baby card but LOVED it too! She used Ruby Red & Pretty in Pink! The last one was made by my other friend Anne M. She used the new level 3 Hostess Simply Scrappin kit! It uses the new color Purely Pomegranate.

New Set Samples!

As promised here are some sample for you with new catalog sets! I love all the new sets and accessories! Esp the new ribbon which just arrived on Friday, can't wait to play with it! These are 3 of the samples we did at the New catalog open house earilier in the month.
*1st card uses new colors too! The base is one of the new in colors Bayou Blue and use a new all occasion set Year After Year(pg 57 new catalog) We also used the faux stiching techinque on this card.
*2nd card uses the new in color Purely Pomegranate and a new level 2 Hostess only stamp set called In the Spotlight (pg 20). This is an awesome set, you can use the new scalloped punch (pg 183) to punch it out. This punch is a must have in my opinion! It works well on it's own or there are a ton of stamp sets it will punch images out like the one from In The Spotlight. LOVE IT!!
*3rd card uses a new level 3 Hostess Only stamp set/wheel combo. Yep, that is right, there are wheels in the Hostess choices now! The set and Wheel can be found on Pg 24 and is called All about Occasions Bundle, you rec a set of 4 stamps and 2 jumbo wheels(called All about Birthdays and All about Gratitude) Really awesoem for scrapbooking and cards!
*** I hope to be sharing more with you and get some classes & camps scheduled soon. I am waiting to see when the baby is going to come before I do so. I am scheduling workshops for September, I will be ready to share lots of Halloweeen, Fall & Christmas Ideas with you! I just got the new "Batty for You" stamp set on Friday and I can't wait to play with it! I love Halloween!!

It's Like CHRISTMAS at my house!! LOL

You guys haven't heard from me in awhile! Probally thought I had the baby already! LOL Not yet, but I will be sure to let you know!
On to the fun news! All you ladies that attended the New Catalog Open House/Retired Stamp sale, your orders are HERE!!! I can't tell you how exciting it was to see those 3 boxes sitting on my front porch when I got home yesterday from work!!! Taylor and I opened them right up and and started picking through the boxes right away! How fun it was! She thought I should take my picture with the boxes to show you! So that is me. Everything is so much better in person! The ribbon is beautiful and all the paper and the new stamps and the new pretties kit! I wish it were all mine! But don't worry I will be delivering it all to you this weekend or Monday! Stay tuned for some samples.
